Putting your dog in daycare is a good idea. Dogs have always lived in packs, so when you leave for work, your dog finds himself alone. This creates anxiety in a dog because his instincts are to stay with a pack. Daycare provides them with a “pack” so that he/she feels confident. Daycare is also beneficial because it provides socialization with many different dogs in a supervised environment. Dogs are social animals. Daycare also gives your dog much-needed exercise that you might not have time to offer. It stimulates dogs physically and mentally. Daycare gives dogs balance in their lives and eliminates frustration. It provides dogs with a balanced lifestyle in a positive way. Finally, daycare provides YOU with peace of mind because you know that your dog will come home happy and tired!

** Please note though that daycare isn’t right for every dog. Every dog must participate in a temperament test prior to participating in daycare or boarding. They are also subject to a two-week trial period. Our goal is to provide a happy, safe environment for all the dogs. Temperament tests consist of dropping off your dog for a period of four hours and are subject to the daycare half-day fee of $15.
